Much Ado About Theatre is a theatrical group focusing on performance and technical opportunities that encourage growth and education.
Much Ado About Theatre, inc. is a performance-based group focusing on education and development through theatrical studies. This includes, but is not limited to, improvisation, monologues, dialogues, scene work, and movement on stage.

We offer 3 main stage productions every year, one in March, one in August, and one in October. We encourage people to audition and work with us in every element- onstage and backstage! Learn every element of theatre you can by auditioning and participating in our main stage productions.

We also do camp every summer focusing on creating a production from the very beginning to the final performance. You can find information about this on our Camps page. Performance and technical opportunities are offered to all of our campers.

My name is Hannah Butler. I am the owner of Much Ado About Theatre, Inc. I studied at George Mason University for Theatre Education. I am a local actor, director, techie, and a published playwright. If you can name a job in theatre, I have probably done it! I continue to pursue theatrical opportunities in my spare time to focus on development of my own skills that I can then bring to Much Ado About Theatre. This is why I developed Much Ado About Theatre, Inc. We focus on developing skills through performance and technical opportunities that will then benefit those who work with us. We strive to see everyone succeed and grow in theatre and in every day life. We are also consistently seeking opportunities for our people outside of Much Ado to help them grow and learn further skills.
